Millburn: Hydrant Inspections
On Friday June 6th, New Jersey American Water inspected hydrants in the multiple areas near Old Short Hills Road, Chatham Road and Hobart Avenue. Customers in Short Hills and Millburn in the area may experience a brief period of discolored water. If you experience discolored water, open a cold water faucet from the closest point where the water pipe enters the property and allow the water to flow for approximately 3 to 5 minutes. Repeat this flushing step once or twice within an hour as necessary until the water clears.
