Our contractor will make a repair to the water main nearby 3909 Cameron Mills Road, between April 28 and May 9. A brief water service disruption will occur on Tuesday, April 29 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. If you are receiving this notice, you reside in the impacted area and may experience no water, low water pressure, or discolored/cloudy water. If you are a landlord and water service is in your name, please inform your tenants so they are aware of this water disruption. When water service is restored, you may experience discolored/cloudy water. If your water is discolored, run the cold water taps only at the lowest level of the house for about three to five minutes until the water runs clear. You will not receive any further notification unless additional action is required, or conditions change. It is important to note that our contractor will try to keep one traffic lane open at all times to local traffic as long as it can be done safely. Construction should not impact access to homes and driveways of residents. Please follow traffic control and the “NO PARKING” signage that will be posted by the City of Alexandria. Some construction noise will be unavoidable with this project, but our contractor will work to minimize the disturbance.
