Boone County: Lifted Boil Water Advisory: Coal River
West Virginia American Water has lifted the precautionary boil water advisory for approximately 594 customers in the Coal River area of Boone County to include the following communities: Seth, Comfort, Prenter, Kirby, Orgas and Fosterville. The advisory follows a main break.
Results of water quality testing have confirmed that water quality meets drinking water standards. Therefore, there is no further need to boil water prior to consumption. Customers will be notified of the lifting of the advisory by the American Water emergency notification system.
