West Charleston: Lifted Precautionary Boil Water Advisory:
West Virginia American Water has lifted the precautionary boil water advisory issued for 302 customers on Madison Street, Central Avenue, Main Street, Bream Street, Grant Street 3rd Avenue, 4th Avenue, 5th Avenue, 6th Avenue, 7th Avenue, Florida Street, Beatrice Street, and Russell Street. The advisory was issued following a water main repair, which crews have repaired. Results of water quality testing have confirmed that water quality meets drinking water standards. Therefore, there is no further need to boil water prior to consumption. Customers will be notified of the lifting of the advisory by the CodeRED emergency notification system. West Virginia American Water thanks its customers for their patience and cooperation during this event.
