Mechanicsburg: Water Conservation: Silver Spring Water Treatment Plant

This is an urgent notification from Pennsylvania American Water. A mandatory water conservation notice has been issued as of 10 A.M. for customers in our Mechanicsburg water system to temporarily reduce water usage due to unexpected operational issues in our Silver Spring Water Treatment Plant source. Customers must limit all non-essential water use until further notice, as we seek to reduce usage by 10-15%. When conditions improve, customers will be notified that the mandatory conservation notice is lifted.
