Coatesville: Main Break Emergency with Boil Water Advisory: Valley Township and Sadsbury
This is an urgent notification from Pennsylvania American Water. While crews are making repairs to an earlier reported water main break, a nearby water storage tank was drained, prompting the need to issue a boil water advisory for customers in parts of East Fallowfield and Valley Township. You reside in the affected area and may experience a service interruption or low water pressure. At this time, you are under a Boil Water Advisory until further notice. Any water to be used for drinking or cooking should be brought to a rolling boil for 1 minute. Water is OK for bathing, washing, and other common uses. You will be updated on the status of the boil advisory within 24 hours. To ease inconvenience, bottled water is available at 100 Cheshire Court, Suite 104 in Coatesville. If you are a landlord and water service is in your name, please inform your tenants so they are aware of this impact to their water service and that bottled water is available.
