Lexington: Planned Water System Improvements & Boil Advisory

This is an important notification from Kentucky American Water. Our crews will be performing relocation of water main in Lexington. Weather Permitting, the project will start on 10/28/2026 at 8:00pm and be completed by approximately 5:00am on 10/29/2026. You reside in the affected area and may experience a service interruption or low water pressure. Repairs are expected to take 9 hours to complete.When water is restored after the work has been completed, you will be under a Boil Water Advisory for 36 hours.If you are a landlord and water service is in your name, please inform your tenants so they are aware of this impact to their water service. In keeping with American Water’s focus on safety for both customers and employees, please do not approach our crews while they work.
