Big Chimney: Lifted Boil Advisory

West Virginia American Water has lifted the precautionary boil water advisory issued for 161 customers on Miliken Drive, Cranbrook Drive, Cascade Drive, Warner Lane, Windsor Drive, Mandalay Lane, Vindale Drive, 2200 and 2300 block of Mill Creek Road, Calvin Drive, Meadford Lane, Currency Lane, Wingfield Lane, Orchard Avenue, Lowell Drive, Lambert Terrace and Indian Creek Road from 3200 to 3851.  The advisory followed a main break which crews have since repaired.  Results of water quality testing have confirmed that water quality meets drinking water standards. Therefore, there is no further need to boil water prior to consumption. Customers will be notified of the lifting of the advisory by the American Water emergency notification system.West Virginia American Water thanks its customers for their patience and cooperation during this event.
